After releasing into closed beta, officially launching, then Reverting back to the closed beta, Crucible is officially being shuttered.
A near. Developer Relentless Studios is shuttering the match after its short-lived lifespan of a few months.
“We will be discontinuing advancement on Crucible,” Relentless Studios wrote in a blog article. “We appreciate the way our fans have rallied around our attempts, and we have loved seeing your answers to the changes we’ve made during the past couple of months, but ultimately we didn’t see a healthy, sustainable future ahead of Crucible.”
Currently, servers such as custom matches will continue to stay alive. But those will shut down on November 9 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. This means you have less than a month to keep enjoying the game in case you have done so with friends.

All credit purchases have been disabled and refunds will be made To anyone who’s made any in-game purchases in Crucible.
With Crucible shortly to be dead-and-buried, Relentless Studios Will concentrate its own efforts to New World also as”other forthcoming projects” for Amazon Games. Initially scheduled to release earlier this year, New World was delayed to Spring 2021.
Crucible had a rather uncommon release cycle. First existing in Closed beta, the match formally launched and has been met with mostly mediocre reviews.
