Destroy All Humans 2 is An open world action-adventure video game created by Black Forest Games and published by THQ Nordic. It is a remake of Destroy All Humans! , the reboot/fifth installment in the Destroy All Humans! The franchise, and the first entry since Path of the Furon.
There’s something to be said for irreverent humor in games, But there’s less to be mentioned for irreverence just for the interest of irreverence. Destroy All Humans! , last year’s action-adventure game from developer Pandemic Studios, which stars a snarky, snarling alien invader which has been hell-bent on reaping prized DNA from helpless humans, was amusing in the proper ways.

The game’s antihero, Crypto Sporidium 137, was the perfect combination of angry and ridiculously overconfident, which makes for some hilarious exchanges between Crypto and the several denizens of Earth. On top of that, the game created an excellent send-up of all 1950s-era B-grade science fiction, together with flying saucers, death rays, theremins, and all.
Now we have to Destroy All Humans! 2, a rather by-the-numbers sequel which adds some new weapons, a new storyline, and a few other goofy touches to the same basic framework that was found in the very first game.
However, this newest Crypto adventure only isn’t as amusing as the first game as it lacks the focus the very first game had on what it was parodying.
2 tries to take stabs at hippies, the British, Japan, communism (again), a smattering of random movies, and even the very first game, and regrettably, it isn’t able to maintain a consistent level of comedy. However, in spite of its lack of focus and comfortable gameplay structure, Destroy All Humans 2 still can be enjoyable, if not especially impactful.
