Following a State of Play live stream that Concentrated on Ghost of Tsushima, Sony content communications manager Justin Masson gill followed with Sucker Punch creative directors Nate Fox and Jason Connell with enthusiast questions and posted the replies on PlayStation Blog.
In the meeting, Fox and Connell show that Jin is the only playable character in Ghost of Tsushima and–though you’ll have a choice in how he struggles –there are aspects of his story that may not be influenced.

“Jin is the protagonist of this story,” Fox explained. “Players are there, each step of the way, guiding Jin because he transforms against the honorable Samurai he was brought up to be, in the Ghost that Tsushima needs him to become.”
Though you can customize Jin’s armor and battle as either a confrontational samurai or stealthy Ghost, Jin’s weapon of choice won’t change.
“Jin’s katana is extremely important to him,” Connell said. “It’s also his principal weapon of choice in start to the conclusion of the game. There are ways to improve this weapon, both the stats and the look.”
In regards to Jin sometimes possessing two swords during the State of Play live stream, Fox clarified that Jin will constantly only fight with his sole katana, but” to even the chance that he begins to use thrown weapons at the center of a fight, mixing ranged and close-quarters attacks with deadly results.”
Several different elements of Jin will not alter, either. Connell said that you will choose a horse to get Jin among a choice at the start of the game, and you’ll stick with your partnered steed for the remaining part of the campaign–and to not worry, there’s no chance of this horse dying.
