Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum Claudia Jordan has apologized to her fans for mistakenly tweeting that DMX was dead.
On Tuesday, April 6, Claudia, 47, wrote on her page: ‘Rest in Paradise DMX,’
She probably thought that the media had announced that DMX passed away, only to later discover that the rapper is still alive. She then deleted her original tweet and then post: ‘I’m sorry.’
Claudia who starred on just one season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta confirmed it saying: ‘I did,’ ‘I deleted it. And apologized. I feel awful.’
The 50-year-old rapper reportedly suffered an overdose last week and is in the ICU at White Plains Hospital in New York after a heart attack.
DMX went into cardiac arrest before being hospitalized on Friday. TMZ reported that he had suffered an overdose.
However, his longtime lawyer Murray Richman said he could not confirm that an overdose was what caused the cardiac arrest.
When one fan told her she should not feel sorry Claudia pointed out that she ‘didn’t intend on hurting anyone or doing anything wrong.’
Claudia added: ‘I understand how people are feeling as I am too. It’s been heavy on my mind since he fell ill.’
She added: ‘But they’re right. Not my place. I just want to pray for the whole family & all his supporters that are in pain.’
