The First Trailer For Monster Hunter Arrives, Check It Out

Another video game adaptation is just weeks away from arriving In theaters–assuming it does not get pushed back like every other movie in 2020. Monster Hunter sees Milla Jovovich as a member of the military whose team gets transported to the world of their video games, and of course, she has to hunt monsters.
The first full trailer is here after a series of teasers over The last few weeks. Sony Pictures revealed that the video, also there are a few nods to Capcom’s gambling collection. Check it out below.

There are many components in the game, like a Rathalos and Diablos showing up in the trailer or some of the weaponry Jovovich’s character uses. But, unlike the games, this movie’s focus is on someone from Earth heading into the Dragon Hunter universe.

The film’s Synopsis gives a little more detail about the movie’s once Passing plot. “Behind our world, there’s another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her apparatus (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new Earth, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and frightening monsters immune for their firepower.”
From there, the crew meets a hunter performed by Tony Jaa, and they All band together–to a team led by an Admiral played by Ron Perlman–to hunt monsters.

The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil), and It will head to theaters on December 30.
