Back in E3 2019, Nintendo ended its Direct live flow with the Ever since then, any advice on the sequel was kept closely under wraps, as Nintendo is not prepared yet to disclose any new information on the sport. In a brief update regarding progress on the Wild 2, Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma asked fans to wait”a bit longer.”
“Regarding The sequel, in order to generate the huge world you enjoyed investigating in the first game even more impressive, the staff is working hard on its own development so you’re going to have to wait somewhat longer before we could supply more upgrades,” Aonuma said at the start of the Hyrule Warriors display movie.
Breath of the Wild had received downloadable content after it Launched, and shortly after the launch of the sequel, Aonuma clarified that the development team simply had”too many ideas” for content that would be better used at a standalone sequel.
“When We introduced the DLC for Breath of the Wild, we realized this is a fantastic way to add more components to the same world. Nevertheless, when it comes down to technical matters, DLC is fairly much data–you’re adding information to a preexisting name,”” Aonuma said. “And so when we desired to add larger changes, DLC isn’t enough, and that’s why we thought possibly a sequel would be a fantastic fit
“Originally We had been thinking of just DLC ideas, but then we had a lot of ideas and we said,’That is a lot of thoughts, let’s just make one fresh game and begin from scratch.’
